Who we are

I’m Denis Cutter—the guy behind the hammer at Cutternorth Metalwork.

I live and forge in Duvall, Washington, right in the heart of the Pacific Northwest. This is home, and I’m proud to be a local maker connected to a community that values craftsmanship, honesty, and good work done by hand.

My pieces are all hand-forged using traditional blacksmithing techniques—no shortcuts, no CNC machines, no factory shine. Just steel, fire, and a lot of time at the anvil. Some pieces are practical. Some are sculptural. Some are a little weird. All of them are made to last and meant to be used or enjoyed, not just looked at.

You can find my work at Country Collections on Main Street in Duvall, or reach out here if you’ve got a project in mind. I take on select commissioned work, and I’m always up for a good idea—especially if it doesn’t involve making a thousand of the same thing.
